back
stop your celebrations, i'm not dead yet.
went to malaysia on wednesday and was supposed to be back by saturday. but they decided to extend the damn stay for another day. and i was already bored to death.
fucking waste of time. 4-5 hour coach ride to get there and back, stayed in 3 hotels in all. didn't bathe for the whole 4 days, but did when i got back on sunday. first in my life without showering for so long. and i'm not disgusting. i really didn't sweat for the 5 days because the time was spent in air-conditioned environments, and the first 2 days was in genting. so then, there really wasn't a need to bathe.
and i've watched too many ghost movies and read too many stories to be able to bathe in a fucking hotel bathroom in peace. yeah, i'm a wimp. whatever. i didn't change my pants as well. but i DID change my shirt and underwear. i'm not that disgusting.
discovered that cassettes are still produced by music companies and that i'm quite afraid of heights. actually i'm not. i'm just afraid of what will happen if i fall. when i was playing some damn ride at the theme park where it brings you up some tower and then drop you to the bottom, i had my first realisation of this fear. since i was at the top, and imagining that the tower would fall flat down, the impact would definitely be not too pleasant. and furthermore, there would be no way for me to save myself. and don't tell me that these rides are safe. people have been killed by falling roller coasters before.
then in the cable car going down, i was worried that either the cable or the part that connects the cable to the car would snap. i suppose that no one has been killed in a falling cable car, but i was really not too keen to be one of the first. heck man, who knows when was the last time they serviced the parts? and even if the cable had some problems, how would they know? and they could only change the cable by taking down all the cars and then removing the entire cable, since it was basically one long wire.
bought the strokes' room on fire on tuesday for $17.50 if i'm not wrong. and also the beatles' yellow submarine in malaysia for rm44.90, which is like $19. and then, the 8 cds i bought from amazon.com got here while i was away. 5 afi cds and 3 modest mouse ones. i'm a happy man.
think my brain is still not functioning well. be back tomorrow.
