Yes, I'm from SJI too, GPK wasn't my teacher, during my time she was still teaching and not just admin. But her name stuck with me as friends told me her nickname gohpokekk! (say it real fast), sounds like a chicken!
Agree that SJI has many terrible teachers. My form/Eng/Lit teacher in sec 3/4 was Rosa Lau. Also had Clement Fernandez for Maths for a term. I got As for E and A Maths :)
I saw your "not gay" disclaimer, but I am gay! Maybe you didn't realize it, but SJI being all boys, would statistically have a significant number of gays, I would guesstimate 7%? Then again, I didn't know I was gay until 3rd year of poly, just didn't think about it I suppose.

Read your post about not wanting to join the rat race (my words) and boring office jobs. I'm in the same situation! Graduated from uni and jobless, lazing around (for several years already!).

if i remember correctly, i wrote that gpk was a fracking bitch or something to that extent. well didn't expect it to be dug up after so many years!
c fernandez taught me for half a year i think? before he retired or something like that. strict as hell but i actually improved, and of cos went back to slacking and shit results after he left.
and regarding gays, it might sound strange but i honestly do not know of any from my batch. closeted maybe?
anyway thanks for the kind words, this also reminds me that i've been wanting to write something about gays. next few days maybe.
