20 months
i'm into the second week of my new employment and everything is fine for now, and i hope it stays this way but it's probably way too soon to make any judgement.
other than that i've been trying to make myself more useful and pro-active because according to my ex-boss "every time i see you in meetings, you're just sitting there glancing around, i'm not even sure what you're here for."
but the difference is that there's actually things here for me to be useful about, unlike the previous job where i had to wait and then don't even know what i get scolded for.
i think one thing i've gained is an increase in my level of patience and calmness in the face of extreme stupidity. looking back now, i don't know how i managed to keep it together.
anyway i'm trying to be useful because i need to grab as much as i can from here before i evacuate, as this job scope is not something that is worth doing for long.
we'll see what's next.
